This is my gallery of unreleasable content. This is stuff that I either created with the intention of releasing but was never able to secure permission to do so or stuff that I wanted to do for myself, knowing that I would never be able to release it. Some stuff started off this way, but I was able to get permission to release it afterward.

Pittsburgh & Lake Erie GP38-2
Living on the Mon Line, P&LE was one of the big players. My grandfather worked for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, and the P&LE ran the slab train from their mill in Monessen to the mill he worked at in Allenport.
This is a personal reskin I did of Jointed Rail's payware GP38-2. This is in the will never be released category.

Detroit Edison (DEEX) SD40's, take 1
These were some of my first reskins, and I did them about a year and a half ago. Initially, I started with Halbert5150's U-30C, but I was painting on the Mac and "using Trainz on the PC"- a boot camp partition on my Macbook. Hal's U-boats were the first two-map models I tried to repaint, and it was not a good experience. I would paint on the Mac, reboot and launch Trainz and try out my work to find that the pieces did not go together, needing to reboot back to the Mac and launch Photoshop to tweak it, and repeat over and over. It just didn't work out, so I went on to Prjindigo's undecorated SD40's instead. They turned out OK, I guess. The blue was too blue, but I just didn't like the low resolution of it. I made 3 road numbers, but I never ended up uploading them to the DLS.
Now that I'm doing this entirely in Windows, I use Photoshop and PEV's Mesh Viewer to paint and view before I ever go into Trainz. I may just have to look at the U-30C's again now.

Detroit Edison SD40-2's, take 2
Got bit by the Detroit Edison bug again. I used to see these across the river on the P&LE side. These were from Penn Central's unreliable times, so DEEX bought their own locomotives for their unit trains. They used to run 3 locos on lead with 2 mid-train helpers. I was much happier with how these turned out. Unfortunately, these will never see the light of day either, because they are also reskins of Jointed Rail's payware locomotives.
Seminole Gulf GP9 #575
This was just trying out a different model. Seminole Gulf is my local railroad, and I made 575 on Virtual Motive Division's model. I liked how it turned out and sent it off to them, but I never heard back from them. Unfortunately, their license says reskins must be hosted by them on their site, so it sits as unavailable until they do something with it.
Atlantic Coast Lines F-units
These are from Jointed Rail's F-7 reskin kit. Unfortunately, the way the mapping is on these models, along with the compound curves of the 1950's, I was just never happy with how they turned out. I had mapping problems and this paint scheme didn't lend itself to the mapping of the model.
